I took a joke from Norm MacDonald (who just passed away from cancer) modified it, and used it as an illustration of the role of religious care providers. This includes missionaries. There is also an interesting article (opnion essay in the NY Times) on Norm MacDonald as a comedian who was a Christian, but who did not market himself as a Christian comedian. Norm MacDonald’s Comedy Was Quite Christian.
